website software for school librarians
Here are some of my favs. The very best is still Claris' Homepage, which is no longer available commercially. I have the rights to distribute the software for free so if you ask I can loan you a disc to load on your Mac or PC. Apple has replaced Frontpage with Expression which is, in my estimation, quite an improvement. The leader of the pack is still Adobe's, formerly Macromedia's, Dreamweaver. All these names are registered trademarks but I haven't learned how to show the trademark symbol on Blogger yet. Another possibility, and a free one, is to use Google's Page Creator. To see an example of this technology point your browser to davebassmusic.com. A final word, the reason I still favor Homepage is that your don't first have to learn all the "helper" windows, it's nearly as easy to learn and use as a word processing application. If you need more information email me at wesdoak@gmail.com...another hit from Google!
